‘Looking’ producer teases season two details

By Josh Haggis

LookingLooking’s

executive producer has teased details of the show’s upcoming second season.

The drama series will return to US cable network HBO on Sunday, January 11, with a UK premiere on Sky Atlantic expected to follow shortly after.

In a new interview, executive producer Andrew Haigh has revealed details of the storyline for the second season’s upcoming premiere episode.

“All of them have been in flux since the end of the last season, and they’ve all been doing their own thing a little bit,” Haigh told Entertainment Weekly.

“This first episode is them being determined to spend more time together and go away to Russian River, which is, like, two hours outside San Francisco.”

Discussing the tone of the show’s second season, he added: “I would say it’s certainly bigger but still true to what the show was always meant to be which is an intimate look at these people’s lives.”

The first full-length trailer for the forthcoming second season was unveiled earlier this month (November) – check it out here.

Meanwhile, Mean Girls actor Daniel Franzese has also joined the cast – find out more here.
