Little Mix take flight with sun-kissed new single ‘Holiday’

Our bags are packed, ladies.

By Thomas Stichbury

Little Mix have dropped their latest track ‘Holiday’ – and we are fully checked in and on board with it.

Forgive the terrible travel puns, though, because we’re not entirely convinced that the track is actually about getting away.

Unless the destination is your boy’s body-ody-ody…

“I swear, you put the sun up in my sky/When it’s cold, you pull me closer/So hot, it’s like the middle of July,

“Wanna have a little taste? So, let me delay you/Nothing better than your skin on mine/I’ve been looking for the feeling, looking all my life,” Attitude’s former Honorary Gay Award winners sing.

They continue: “Can we make it all night? We don’t stop/Fill up on my body, bae/Touch me like a summer night, you feel like a holiday.”

Giving us all the summery vibes, the ladies’ newest bop is the pop equivalent of taking a sweet, satisfying slurp of a Sex on the Beach cocktail.

The single will appear on Little Mix’s upcoming sixth album (please note, we are still gutted that there was never a full release for ‘Wasabi’ from 2018’s LM5.)

Check out the official lyric video for ‘Holiday’ below:

Jade, Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne – who graced the front cover of Attitude’s 2018 December issue – will next be seen on BBC’s Little Mix: The Search, airing this autumn.

Hosted by Chris Ramsay, the talent show sees the former X Factor champs on a mission to find Britain’s next biggest band.
