Party poppers at the ready as the record will drop on 6 November.

The pop gods and goddesses have answered our prayers as the new Little Mix album is on its way – and it has the gayest title: Confetti.

It’s almost like the ladies knew that the birth of every gay is accompanied by the boom of a massive confetti cannon.

Taking to Instagram, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Jade revealed that the much-anticipated record will be released on 6 November.

“We are soooo happy to share this news with you guys,” they said. “So much love, emotion and energy has gone into the making of this record and now the news is out we can finally get excited about it with you!!”

Having already graced us with shiny singles ‘Break Up Song’ and ‘Holiday’, the sixth album comes two years after the release of LM5, produced by former record label Syco Music.

Confetti will be launched under RCA UK and Columbia, which are also owned by Sony.

Catch the gals on the small screen with reality series Little Mix: The Search, airing on BBC One on 26 September.
