Lana Del Rey confirms new album title, return to ‘Born To Die’ sound

Lana Del Rey has announced her new album will be titled Honeymoon.

The singer – who released her third album Ultraviolence last year – has already recorded 9 songs for the follow-up.

She told Billboard that she has a few more songs to record “to tie everything together”, and also teased a different sound to her most recent record.

“It’s very different from the last one [Ultraviolence] and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise,” she revealed.

She continued: “I finished my last one in March and released it in June and I had a follow-up idea. It’s growing into something I really like. I’m kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It’s been good.”

Ultraviolence featured the singles West Coast, Shades of Cool and Brooklyn Baby. It peaked at number one on the UK Top 40 and US Billboard 200.
