Kylie Minogue records ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ theme song for the movie
The Absolutely Fabulous movie is set for a release next month and if you weren’t excited for it, well, we’ve got something that might help.
Kylie Minogue has covered the sitcom’s classic theme song, ‘This Wheel’s On Fire’ which was originally written by Bob Dylan.
Minogue said: ‘As a huge fan of the Ab Fab series and both Jennifer and Joanna, I’m over the moon to be singing the theme song.”
According to Digital Spy, Jennifer Saunders wanted to keep Kylie’s involvement “top secret”.
Other musicians who have submitted songs for the Ab Fab soundtrack include, Paloma Faith, Jason Derulo and La Roux.
But Julia Sawalha, who plays Edina’s daughter Saffy, has covered ‘At Seventeen’ and Jane Horrocks, Edina’s assistant Bubble, has covered ‘Big Spender’.
