Kylie Minogue confirms her engagement to Joshua Sasse is over
Kylie Minogue has confirmed that her relationship with British actor Joshua Sasse is over.
The pair, who met in summer 2015 and announced their engagement in February last year, have “decided to go their separate ways” as tabloid rumours swirl about the nature of Galavant star Sasse’s relationship with Spanish actress and No Tomorrow in Vancouver co-star Marta Milans.
As a couple, Minogue and Sasse had repeatedly called for Australia marriage equality through Sasse’s ‘Say I Do Down Under’ campaign, and previously pledged not to wed until same-sex marriage was legalised in the Aussie pop icon’s home country.
Confirming news of the split on Instagram this morning, Minogue thanked fans for their support, and confirmed the couple wished only the best for each other.
“Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life,” she wrote. “Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways.
“We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises“.
