Kim Kardashian says she isn’t homophobic because ‘All my best friends are gay’

The American reality star has slammed accusations that she's homophobic.

Kim Kardashian has insisted she isn’t homophobic because all of her friends are gay.

The American reality star made headlines last week when she insinuated that model Tyson Beckford is gay after he commented on an Instagram photo of the star with the green vomiting emoji.

It all began when Beckford, 47, took aim at the reality star’s physique in the comments under a picture of Kardashian that had been shared on Instagram. He wrote: “Sorry I Don’t care for it personally”, before adding separately: “She is not real, doctor fucked up on her right hip.”

Soon after, an Instagram account called The Shade Room reshared the image alongside Beckford’s comments and Kardashian took the opportunity to hit back. Alongside the tea and nails emoji, Kardashian wrote: “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it”.

The clap-back was widely interpreted by users as a comment on Beckford’s sexuality, and Kim was quickly accused of being homophobic, a claim she denounced during an interview with Big Boy on Real 92.3.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star slammed Tyson’s comments in the interview, saying: “Really, dude? Like, you’re going to body-shame me? Like, okay. Okay. Okay, sis.”

She continued: “People were sending me stuff on his page, he keeps on going and going and going, and I’m just like, ‘dude, that’s so female lame to me.’ And for anyone to say that I am homophobic with the comment for saying sis? All my best friends are gay, I support the community, I love the community, they love me, that has nothing to do with this.”
