We might have a few more weeks to wait until Love, Simon is released on DVD, but at least we can relive our favourite film of 2018 with the soundtrack’s most addictive hit.

‘Love Lies’ by Kahlid and Fifth Harmony’s Normani has been steadily creeping up the charts since it was released as the second single from the soundtrack earlier this year, and as summer arrives it’s rightly knocking on the door of the UK Top 10.

The sultry R&B number is the first of Normani’s nascent solo career, and the 21-year-old former X Factor USA star will be hoping she can emulate some of the success of her former bandmate Camila Cabello after Fifth Harmony announced an indefinite hiatus earlier this year.

The signs are good, however: ‘Love Lies’ has already racked up a mammoth 280 million streams across the globe and provided Khalid with his highest-charting UK hit since coming fourth in the BBC Sound of 2018 contest.

‘Love Lies’ sits on Love, Simon’s stellar soundtrack alongside contributions from some of our faves including The 1975 and Whitney Houston, as well as original contributions from the likes of MØ, Amy Shark, and our current cover star Troye Sivan.

‘Love Lies’ is out on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play and Amazon now. Check out the official video below:
