Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon to play warring co-stars in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Feud’

By Fabio Crispim

After departing American Horror Story two years ago

we knew it was only a matter of time before Jessica Lange and Ryan Murphy reunited for television.

Sadly it isn’t for season six of AHS – instead, Lange is set to work with Susan Sarandon for Ryan Murphy’s new FX show Feud.

Following Murphy’s success with American Crime Story’s: The People v. O.J. Simpson, FX has announced that ‘Feud’ will be another anthology series, with the first focusing on the long and bitter ‘feud’ between What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? co-stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, played by Susan Sarandon and Lange respectively.

Vanity Fair reports that Murphy will direct several episodes and will executive produce the series alongside Brad Pitt.

Other stars joining the legendary leading ladies include Stanley Tucci, Judy Davies, Dominic Burgess and Alfred Molina.

Shooting for the series starts this autumn and ahead of 2017 premiere date.
