Jade Thirlwall fell for Rizzle Kicks’ Jordan Stephens after seeing him in drag: ‘He loves being feminine’

The Little Mixer's other half sounds like a keeper!

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has described her amazing-sounding boyfriend Jordan Stephens as “a straight man willing to do drag” who “loves being queer and feminine.”

Well, being into drag is one way to impress a former RuPaul’s Drag Race UK guest judge!

Proving she’s herself drag royaltyJade actually opened up about her relationship with the Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan with none other than RuPaul, who she’s interviewed the new issue of Cosmopolitan UK.

“He’s perfect. Sign me up!”

“It’s really important for me that whoever I find relationship-wise loves drag culture,” the star tells Ru in the interview.

“When I first started talking to my boyfriend [here, Cosmo clarifies Jade is talking about ‘actor and musician Jordan Stephens’], I discovered he did a movie [2018’s Tucked] where he played a drag queen and I was like, right, that’s it. He’s perfect. Sign me up!”

Jade, known for hits like Shout Out To My Ex and Touch, then called her bf “a straight man who’s willing to dress in drag and loves being queer and feminine.”

He really does sound awesome!

Elsewhere in the interview, Mama Ru said she’d love to collaborate with Little Mix (“As soon as possible. I’d love that”) before adding of girl groups: “There’s something in our collective DNA that when we see a group of women together, [we think] there’s something important happening. We respond.”

Ru dropped her Hey Sis, It’s Christmas! EP on Sunday; Little Mix, meanwhile, have just released new single Sweet Melody and are gearing up for the release of new album Confetti.
