Hailee Steinfeld joins cast of ‘Pitch Perfect 2’

Hailee Steinfeld is set to join the cast of Pitch Perfect 2.
The actress – who has recently appeared in Romeo and Juliet and 3 Days To Kill – will join stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson for the sequel.
According to Variety, this is the first high-profile role to be cast alongside the ensemble.
Elizabeth Banks – who also appeared in the first film – will make her feature length directorial debut with the sequel.
Original writer Kay Cannon is currently working on the Pitch Perfect 2 script.
The original movie was a critical and commercial success in 2012, and produced the hit song Cups, which went triple platinum in the US.
Pitch Perfect 2 will be released in cinemas on May 15, 2015.
