can exclusively unveil the video for Bright Light Bright Light and The Pink Singers’ new version of Everything I Ever Wanted.

The singer-songwriter has teamed up with London’s oldest LGBT choir to record a new version of his track as part of World AIDS Day next week (December 1), and the release will see 20p from every download be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Bright Light Bright Light – real name Rod Thomas – said in a statement: “I really wanted to do something to help raise money for World AIDS Day. I know many people who have been affected by the disease and making pop music, I don’t get to do an awful lot that feels like it helps a wider community.

“I hope we can raise money, and in some small way I can help to fight AIDS and to give something back to Elton to thank him for all his support of my work, by raising money for his AIDS Foundation and the excellent work he and his team do.”

Sir Elton John himself has thrown his support behind the release, saying the track is “One of my favourite songs from his album Life Is Easy. A message of hope for all the people with AIDS on our planet. So grateful for this gift of love from Bright Light Bright Light.”

You can read our interview with Bright Light Bright Light in special edition teen magazine aTEEN, free with the latest digital issue of Attitude and available to download separately to you mobile, iPad or tablet device for £1.99 at pocketmags.com.
