star Eric McCormack has admitted that a reunion is unlikely to happen.

Rumours of a reunion surfaced earlier this year, but the reports were quickly denied by the show’s original broadcaster NBC.

“[The rumour] literally came from one person in Australia tweeting. That’s the thing about the internet – you can make up anything you want, ” the actor told our friends at Digital Spy.

Asked about the possibility of a reunion in the future, McCormack replied: “There’s not going to be any kind of reunion that I can see, as characters – I just don’t think that’ll happen.

The hit US sitcom about a gay man, McCormack’s Will, and his straight female best friend, Debra Messing’s Grace, originally ran on NBC for 184 episodes between 1998 and 2006. In the UK, Will & Grace aired first on LIVING and then on Channel 4.

Meanwhile, props from Will & Grace have recently been added to an American museum’s LGBT exhibition – find out more here.
