Elton John teases ‘absolutely fabulous’ Lady Gaga album

The material already recorded for Lady Gaga’s new album is “really really” fantastic, according to close friend and fellow musical icon Elton John.
The Rocket Man singer gave fans an update on Gaga’s upcoming fifth studio album after playing her track Bad Romance during his ‘Rocket Hour’ on Beats 1 yesterday (September 29).
“She’s in the throes of writing her new album. I’ve heard some of it and it’s absolutely fabulous,” the 68-year-old said.
“She’s been doing really different things. She did The Sound of Music on the Oscars, she did a tour with Tony Bennett and now she’s in American Horror Story.
“I can tell you I’ve heard a couple of things from her new album and it’s really, really fantastic.”
Gaga – who is apparently working on some “great” new material with former Fame-era collaborator RedOne – has already begun begun posting teasers from the new record, and ushered in her new musical era last week with the hashtag ‘#LG5’.
Meanwhile, the Bad Romance singer has just released a graphic and emotive video for her standalone track Til It Happens To You, which was used in a US documentary about sexual violence across university campuses earlier this year – click here to watch the video.
