Drag Race‘s Bosco thanked fans for “apparently enjoying gay people” as she picked up the award for ‘Best Fight’ at the MTV Movie and TV Awards on Sunday (5 June)

The golden popcorn was awarded to the Montana queen for her dramatic spat with fellow season 14 queen, Lady Camden.

While preparing for the Moulin Ru: The Rusical challenge the two queens fought it out over who would play the lead role, Saltine.

“I would like to thank all of you for apparently enjoying gay people!”

Ultimately, the part went to Bosco while the British queen accepted the role of Mama Z after a majority vote by the other queens.

“You know what? F*** all you. You better f***ing turn this shit out and if you don’t I’m going to be pissed!” exclaimed Lady Camden after the decision was finalised.

Accepting the golden popcorn award on Sunday Bosco said: “I would like to thank Lady Camden for not being here so I could accept this alone.”

“And I would like to thank all of you for apparently enjoying gay people!” she added.

Bosco and Lady Camden both made it to the finale of season 14 but the former was eliminated with Camden landing in the runner-up position. Willow Pill was named the winner.

Elsewhere at the MTV Awards, Drag Race won ‘Best Competition Series’ with RuPaul missing out on the Host award to Kelly Clarkson.

Heartstopper won ‘Best Musical Moment’ for the song ‘Dance with Me’ by Beabadboobee, which plays during the adorable snow scene in the show’s second episode.

The Attitude May/June issue is out now.
