With just seven queens remaining on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12, suddenly a spot in that coveted final four is getting within reach (though when that live grand final will take place considering current events is anyone’s guess).
The competition is officially hotting up as episode nine arrives this Friday on VH1 in the US (and Saturday on Netflix for UK viewers), and the claws are back out – though not in the Brita/Aiden way you might imagine.
A new 9-minute preview of this week’s episode of Drag Race shows the queen transforming themselves into the ultimate kitty girls for a cat-themed mini challenge, which is somehow only second most-scarring footage of humans dressed as cats to be released in recent months.
Away from the mini challenge, there’s time for the queens to mourn Jan following her elimination last week, while series frontrunner Gigi Goode admits her sub-par performance in the product challenge after three wins was because she got too cocky.
With the contestants set to take part in a Presidential debate for this week’s maxi challenge before taking to the runway in front of guest judges Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) there could be plenty more twists left in this particular, erm, tail…
