The much-anticipated trailer for Drag Race’s latest international spin-off, Canada vs the World, is finally here!

Set to premiere on 18 November, the latest series in RuPaul’s ever-growing franchise will see nine queens from global Drag Race editions compete to be crowned the next Queen of the Mothertucking World.

Making a guest appearance is Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, who sashays into the Werk Room in the show’s new trailer.

It’s not known in what capacity the Canadian Prime Minister will appear on the show, but to what extent remains unclear. Regardless, he will be the first world leader to appear in the Drag Race franchise.

Representing the US is Drag Race season 11’s Silky Nutmeg Ganache and All Stars 6‘s Ra’Jah O’Hara; Canada’s Drag Race‘s season two winner Icesis Couture, runner-up Kendall Gender as well as Stephanie Prince and Rita Baga are back in the Werk Room; Anita Wigl’it joins from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under and competing for the UK is Victoria Scone and Vanity Milan.

Scone, who pulled out of Drag Race UK series three, after sustaining a knee injury, promises that since we last saw her, “My drag has only got “bigger, and bigger, and bigger!”

Canada vs the World follows RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World, on which Irish queen, Blu Hydrangea took the crown and title of ‘Queen of the World’.

It’s expected the Canadian spin-off will replicate the UK’s format: where the top two queens of the week will lip-sync for the win before the remaining will get whittled down before deciding who leaves the show.

On the Canadian version, Brooke Lynn Hytes – former Drag Race contestant and Canada’s Drag Race host –  will be the lead judge alongside Brad Goreski and Traci Melchor.

Guest judges include Anjulie, Hollywood Jade, Jeanne Beker, Joe Zee, Sarain Fox, and Gary Janetti.

Revealed in the trailer, alongside an abundance of sequins and glitter, former franchise winners Monét X Change and Priyanka will also be making an appearance.

Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World premieres on 18 November on BBC Three in the UK, WOW Presents Plus in the U.S., and Crave in Canada.
