‘Downton Abbey’: Watch the first teaser trailer for new series

ITV have debuted a short teaser for the new series of Downton Abbey.
The period drama – which stars Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery – will return to screens later this year for its fifth series.
The 21-second clip doesn’t include any footage from the new series, but does feature narration from Jim Carter’s Carson, who warns that changes are afoot at Downton.
Richard E Grant, Sue Johnston and Anna Chancellor will appear in the new series as guest stars, with the all of the principal cast set to reprise their roles.
Johnston – who departed Coronation Street earlier this year – will play a new character called Denker, the Lady’s Maid to Maggie Smith’s Dowager Countess.
Downton Abbey‘s fifth series is expected to debut on ITV in September, and will air on PBS in the US in January 2015.
