Dolly Parton has argued that Christians are “already sinning” if they pass judgement on the LGBT community.

The Jolene singer said that the gay community know that she would never judge them as she has also “struggled” in her life.

Asked why her theme park Dollywood is popular with her gay fans, she told Billboard that it is a “place for entertainment” and a “place for all families”.

She added: “As far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they’re already sinning. The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody.”

Parton recently said that she ‘completely loves and accepts’ her gay fans – read more here.

Meanwhile, it has also been suggested that she will record her Glastonbury Mud Song after her appearance at the festival in June – click here to find out more.
