Did Britney Spears just fire back at Iggy Azalea?

Ouch. It looks like Britney Spears hasn’t taken too kindly to Iggy Azalea’s recent comments about their new track Pretty Girls’ lack of success.

Earlier this week, in what many fans saw as side-swipe at Britney and her team, Azalea put the track’s mediocre chart performance down to a lack of promotion and TV appearances.

“Its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured…” she tweeted, explaining: “I would have enjoyed performing it a lot”.

After she was accused of dissing Brit, the the 25-year-old Fancy rapper added that she didn’t “have to suck the woman’s a**hole 24/7 to be her friend”.

In what some are taking to be a not-so-subtle dig at Azalea – whose repeatedly-delayed world tour was cancelled completely last month amidst reports of low ticket sales – Britney has sent a tweet saying how “thankful” she is for her multi-million dollar Las Vegas residency, and reminding fans of just how busy her schedule is for the year.

She even threw in the hashtag #YouWantAPieceOfMe for good measure.
