Courtney Act to host new dating show for bisexual or questioning Brits

'The Bi Life' will debut on E! this October.

Forget Love Island, finally a dating show designed for LGBT+ Brits is here – and they’re doing it properly, this time.

The Bi Life is set to debut in the UK and Ireland on E! this October, hosted by Celebrity Big Brother winner and former Attitude cover star Shane Jarek, aka Courtney Act.

The Bi Life is billed as a ten-part reality dating series coming to which will focus exclusively on bisexual+ dating.

In a first for British TV (we know, ridiculous right), the show will see a group of singletons for whom a partner’s gender doesn’t matter sent on “the ultimate adventure to find love”.

The group, who all identify as bisexual, pansexual, fluid or questioning, will live and party together in the Spanish city of Barcelona for the duration of the series, with E! teasing that some will be “exploring who they are for the very first time”.

Shane aka Courtney said in a statement: “It’s high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender.

“In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important.

“So get ready to see the true stories of bisexual singles, who are the largest part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the least known.”

The Bi Life premieres on E! in the UK and Ireland this October.
