Christian Slater on King Cobra’s Garrett Clayton: ‘The kid is beautiful’

By Fabio Crispim

We’re very excited for James Franco’s upcoming King Cobra film which stars Franco and Keegan Allen as porn producers who will do anything to get headliner Brent Corrigan out of his contract with the producer who made him famous.

The film, which just released its first full-length trailer, also features former Disney star Garrett Clayton who stars as Corrigan while Christian Slater plays Stephen, his producer, and the pair get very intimate together.

According to Gay Star News, Slater doesn’t seem to mind, calling his co-star “beautiful” on Conan O’Brien this week. Slater said:

“When James Franco asked me if I’d be interested in doing this project, I read it and thought… I really do have to think about this, this is definitely out of my wheelhouse.”

“I did have a lot of anxiety and fear about doing something like this. But then I just said, ‘I’m an actor!'”

He adds that he even asked his wife about the role and she urged him to take and speaking on his wife’s enthusiasm he adds, “There was something erotic about it.”

“I don’t know what was going on there. And then I had Garrett Clayton… and the kid is beautiful.”

King Cobra hits US cinemas on October 21. The film is yet to receive an official UK release date, but will receive its European premiere at the 60th BFI London Film Festival in October. For more information visit bfi.org.uk/lff.
