Chris Evans breaks his silence after accidentally posting NSFW picture

It all went schlong, sorry, wrong for the ‘Captain America’ star – but he’s seen the funny side.

Forget the Avengers, all the thirsty gays assembled when Chris Evans accidentally posted a naughty NSFW picture online.

Over the weekend, the Captain America star inadvertently flashed the contents of his camera roll – including a shot of a penis.

It is understood the candid snap slipped through the net while Evans was sharing a video featuring a game of the appropriately named trivia app, ‘Heads Up.’

The video was deleted quicker than Thanos’s snap, but not before some of his six million followers had managed to take a sneaky peek (and screen grab).

However, the incident hasn’t proven to be a Thor point – wrong superhero, yes, but great pun nonetheless – for the Hollywood heartthrob.

No stiff, 39-year-old Evans poked fun at himself and used the snafu to redirect attention to the upcoming 2020 US presidential election.

“Now that I have your attention… VOTE Nov 3rd,” he tweeted yesterday (Tuesday), alongside a facepalm emoji.

What a way to potentially shaft Trump in the elections…

Evans’ admirable response quickly garnered support from his Hollywood friends.

Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo, aka Hulk, replied: “Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See… silver lining.”

Jamie Lee Curtis, who starred opposite Evans in Rian Johnson’s murder mystery Knives Out, quipped: “My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!”

The Good Place favourite Jameela Jamil chipped in: “You did it for your country.”

Even Monica Lewinksy checked in, writing: “we don’t know each other, but i hope this great use of humor is an accurate reflection that you’re doing ok.”

You’ll always be our fave Chris, erm, Chris.
