Cher has tweeted her support of Russia’s LGBT community.
The Dressed To Kill singer took to the social networking site earlier today (October 21) after watching the documentary Hunted, which aired on Channel 4 earlier this year.
The programme shows harrowing footage of homophobic gangs luring gay men in under false pretences before shaming them on camera and uploading the footage online.

The Russian Embassy responded to Channel 4’s Hunted by likening the anti-gay attacks to ‘gingerphobia’ in the UK – read more here.
Last month, fellow US singer Selena Gomez was denied a US visa over her support for gay rights – find out more here.
Meanwhile, Cher recently insisted that her “honorary gay card” can never be revoked as she has essentially been implanted with a gay “microchip”.
