Cardi B has come out following backlash to the new single Girls, a day after Rita Ora.

The single, released last week features Ora, Cardi, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha referencing their sexual fantasies as well as the lines: “Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls” and “I’m open-minded… I’m 50/50, and I’m never gonna hide it.”.

However, a number of LGBT+ musicians criticised the song with Hayley Kiyoko claiming the song “does more harm than good for the LGBTQ+ community”.

Just yesterday, Ora admitted she has had relationships with both men and women and now Cardi has taking to social media to say she has been with “a lot of women”.

The pregnant rapper tweeted: “Listen to “GIRLS” by Rita Ora ft me @BebeRexha @charli_xcx .We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song .

“I personally myself had experiences with other woman ,shiieeett with a lot of woman ! I though the song was a good song and i remember my experience .

“I know i have use words before that i wasn’t aware that they are offensive to the LGBT community .I apologize for that .Not everybody knows the correct “terms “to use.I learned and i stopped using it.

“Exactly me too .My own friends be like “ I’m a dyke so i never thought it was a offensive word .I was like wtf [sic]”
