Handsome Hollywood actor Alexander Skarsgard was unrecognisable at the LA premiere of his latest film Diary of a Teenage Girl last night, turning up on the red carpet rocking full drag.
The Swedish actor, best known for his role as vampire Eric Northman on the HBO series True Blood, fronted up to the paparazzi as a towering vision in full-length gold dress with matching OTT blonde wig. The look was a little bit Darryl Hannah, a little bit Pamela Anderson, and a whole lot of fabulous:

It’s unclear why exactly Skarsgard, 38, decided to drag up for the premiere, but some have suggested his look might have been a nod to his co-star in the film Joshua Grannell, who performs in drag under the name Peaches Christ.
While it’s not Skarsgard’s first time dabbling in drag – he did so for the 2006 Swedish film Kill Your Darlings – it’s a long way from the look Skarsgard usually rocks on True Blood: decidedly underdressed…
