Britney Spears is apparently going hip-hop on ‘big’ new single

By Fabio Crispim

Britney Spears’ 9th studio album is well on its way.

The 34-year-old popstar is set to release new single ‘Make Me (Oooh)’ this summer and Digital Spy reports that she’s already filmed the music video for the track.

A release date for the single hasn’t been announced yet but US rapper G-Eazy, who features on the track, has admitted that Brit’s musical comeback is worth getting excited about.

Speaking to KISS FM he said: “You guys are gonna love it. You’re gonna eat it up. It’s big.”

“I got the call when I was in Australia on tour, and they were like, ‘Yo, Britney Spears wants you on her single’. I’m like, ‘Stop playing.'”

He continued: “I got the email and I listened to it and I was like, ‘S**t – it’s a big record.’ So I knocked it out that night.”

Teasing the track’s sound, G-Eazy says ‘Make Me (Ooh)’ will break down “the wall of genre” and is a “melting pot of different influences.”

“I guess it leans hip-hop, but it’s just a big song,” he adds.

We can’t wait to see just how big that is.

Meanwhile, Brit has recently teamed up with 23 other music artists, including Troye Sivan and Adam Lambert, for Orlando charity single ‘Hands’ – give it a listen here.
