Big Brother’s Ryan Ruckledge admits he ‘does it for attention’

By Fabio Crispim

Ryan Ruckledge was evicted from Big Brother on Friday (July 15) and, in an interview with Digital Spy, reveals that he acts out “for attention”.

He said, “Before I went into Big Brother, people did have a prejudged perception of me. They already had their thoughts of what they thought of me.”

“Everybody used to say they hated me, ‘I don’t like who he is, he’s a d*ckhead, he’s doing it for attention’. Well, yeah, you’re right. I am a d*ckhead at times, I do it for attention but I don’t disagree with that.”

“I’m openly honest. But I’m doing this and I’ve shown myself in so many shit TV shows in the past just to get where I am today. People aspire to be lawyers, solicitors, nurses – I just aspired to be on Big Brother, and guess what, I got it.”

Despite Ryan’s on-off relationship with 22-year-old Hughie, Ruckledge said that he wasn’t his type.

Who is?

Simon Cowell apparently.

“I’m not going to lie,” he starts. “Even though he said I was a horror of a human being, my ideal man would be Simon Cowell.”

The formed X Factor bootcamper said that Cowell is “Fit as f*ck” and has “the bank balance to match.”

“I could be going out driving his Range, walking his chihuahuas, wearing his stiletto boots. I could be literally lapping it up. In fact, I would be very surprised if Simon Cowell’s not been voting for me.”

However he later went on to say that his time in the house has made him “reconsider” his type.

“That house has made me realise, ‘Stop being so shallow, go with where your feelings go,’ and my feelings go for Hughie.”

Big Brother continues on Chanel 5 at 9pm.
