Big Brother’s Aaron discusses being bullied over sexuality

By Will Stroude

Big Brother

contestant Aaron Frew has opened up to housemates about the bullying he used to receive because of his sexuality.

The housemates were in the midst of a group discussion about relationships when the former Calvin Klein model and Attitude Naked Issue star revealed the struggles he faced growing up gay.

“In school people always used to pick on me,” Aaron said.

“Looking back the way I reacted was the wrong way. I used to get so upset.”

The 24-year-old went on to explain that constant anxiety about rejection by his mother kept him in the closet for a long time.

“I didn’t want to lose my mum, and losing my mum was the main factor so I would lie all the time.” he said.

Speaking ahead of his entry into the infamous Elstree compound, the personal shopper said: “I want to let my mum see me for me. I only came out to her two years ago so I want her to see me as an everyday person.”

Of whether he’d be looking for love in the house, he added: “I’m single, no one wants me! I have wanted love for many years and I need to make myself happy first and then that will come.”

If you’re yet to check out Aaron’s naked shoot with Attitude from 2011, why not have a little mosey over here to remind yourself.
