Barbra Streisand joins Instagram, follows 11 other accounts

Barbra Streisand has become the latest diva to join Instagram.
The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT) winner posted her first picture on the photo-sharing website last night (August 7) – and it shows her and her dog in a not entirely casual pose. See below.
Addressing her fans, she wrote in the accompanying caption: “Hello Instagram… isn’t my Samantha just precious?”
At the time of writing, Streisand has attracted just 9,628 followers to her account @barbrastreisand – so if you’re quick, you can still be in the first 10,000.
The 72-year-old gay icon presently follows just eleven other accounts: those belonging to Andrea Bocelli, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Blake Shelton, Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Michael Buble, Josh Groban and producer Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds.
