Austin Armacost addresses tabloid rumours after biting James Hill’s bum

The undeniable highlight of last year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother was witnessing Austin Armacost and James Hill’s scantily-clad antics as they embarked on our favourite bromantic relationship of recent times – in fact, you all loved it so much that the pair won our ‘TV Moment of the Year’ award at the Attitude Awards back in October.
But despite the fact that Austin is settled with husband Jake Lees and James is, you know, straight, the tabloid rumour mill has continued to imply that there’s more to the pair’s relationship than meets the eye, and after Austin posted a picture of himself biting James’ bum earlier this week, naturally they went into overdrive.

The pair were staying in a hotel room together and watching the current series of CBB as Austin posted the picture on Instagram, writing:”Guess whose bum I am biting.”
The A-List star later took to Facebook to poke fun at the rumours, writing: “I have an announcement, I am leaving my husband. I tried to do it quietly by posting pictures on social media but ironically they made their way to the press. I am caught.
“Sorry Jake Lees, but I will always treasure what we had together. Can’t wait to spend my life with you James Hill.”
He later clarified – for those in any doubt – that he was joking, adding: “Just FYI! Jake Lees and I are happily married, just a little thing called sarcasm with that last post. ALL IS GOOD! #LoveJake”
Commenting on the latest rumours, James’ manage told The Daily Star (somewhat despairingly, by the sounds of it): “James is still straight. Austin still gay.
“They are not in a relationship, never have been. But they are still really close mates and never have had or will have any issues sharing a bed.
“They worked together on BBBOTS and shared a hotel afterwards. If two girls share a bed after a night out it’s never an issue.”
Well said that man.
