Are Little Mix are coming for Zayn on their next single?

By Will Stroude

Little Mix are getting ready to drop their next single, and by the sounds of some of the lyrics, the shade is being thrown firmly in Zayn Malik’s direction.

The Sun reports that some of the lyrics in upcoming song Shout Out To My Ex – set for an October 16th release – are referring to the former One Direction singer, who Perrie was engaged to until 2015.

The new track reportedly contains the lyrics, “I hope she gettin’ better sex/Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did, babe,” apparently referring to Zayn’s new girlfriend, model and Taylor Swift “squad” member Gigi Hadid.

She continued: “Guess I should say thank you/For the ‘hate yous’ and the tattoos, Oh baby I’m cool by the way, Ain’t sure I loved you anyway.”

We still haven’t forgotten the time Perrie broke down on stage following the pair’s split, breaking all our hearts in the process. Given all the support the girls give to the LGBT community at every opportunity, it’s safe to say we’ve got Perrie’s back on this one.

Little Mix will release ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ next Sunday (October 16), immediately after they debut it live on the X Factor’s results show.
