Adele lets son dress up as Frozen’s Princess Anna for trip to Disneyland

By Troy Nankervis

We love Adele a little bit more this afternoon.

In a refreshing disregard for gender norms, the ‘Hello’ singer has been photographed strolling around Disneyland with her three-year-old son Angelo dressed as Anna, the princess from Disney’s eternally-popular Frozen.

Joined by Angelo’s father Simon Konecki, the trio reportedly strolled around the California theme park for a happy family outing last weekend.

As a passionate advocate for equality and gay rights, Adele has also been vocal in defending her parenting decisions, telling Time last year she would support her son “no matter what”.

“He makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much. And I’ve always liked myself. I’ve never not liked myself. I don’t have hangups like that,” she said.

“But I’m so proud of myself that I made him in my belly. Cooked him in my belly and then he came out of me! This human who’s suddenly walking around and doing his own thing.

“I can’t wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes… Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what.”

Adele has also previously spoken of how Angelo was what kept her working in the music business. “It might’ve seemed like the most ridiculous time to have a baby, but I was starting to get a bit afraid of everything,” she told Rolling Stone.

“When I had him, it made everything all right, and I trusted everything because the world had given me this miracle, you know, so I became a bit of a hippie, an Earth mother.”
