Adele helps gay couple get engaged onstage in Switzerland

By Fabio Crispim

Adele has helped a gay couple get engaged onstage at a concert in Zurich, Switzerland during her Adele Live 2016 tour.

Gay Star News reports that Corey, who’s from Michigan, climbed onstage after the 28-year-old singer had finished singing Make You Feel My Love.

Corey then invited his Swiss boyfriend of two years, Martin, to join him.

“Martin, ever since the day I met you, I knew I wanted to marry you. You’re the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. You’re my best friend, my boyfriend, my favourite person, my person. And I was wondering…”

He then got down on one knee as the crowd roared in applause.

“I was wondering if you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me?” he asked.

Martin said yes (obvs) and the pair hugged it out with Adele, who congratulated the pair and took a picture to mark the occasion, wishing them a “wonderful life” together.
