The Vamps have been named Best Group at the Attitude Awards 2014.

The British pop-rock four-piece – made up of 20-year-olds James McVey and Tristan Evans, 19-year-old Bradley Simpson and 18-year-old Conner Ball – have racked up four Top Five hits on the UK’s Official Singles Chart over the last year.

The group’s debut album, Meet the Vamps, reached Number Two on the UK’s Official Albums Chart upon its release in April, while the band released their fifth single Oh Cecelia (Breaking My Heart) – a collaboration with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes – yesterday (October 12).

Meanwhile, the band have recently announced a UK and Ireland arena tour to take place next year – click here for the full list of dates.

The band were presented with the Best Group Award by popstar and emerging gay icon Tulisa at tonight’s ceremony at Banqueting House in Whitehall, London, which is being hosted by Scissor Sisters star Ana Matronic.
