2016 MTV Movie Awards: Winners List in Full

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards took place last night (April 9) in Los Angeles, ahead of a UK broadcast tomorrow night at 8pm on MTV.

Hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, the 25th annual ceremony was filmed on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank and attended by some of Hollywood’s biggest screen stars, who saw the likes of Will Smith and Melissa McCarthy honoured with some of the night’s biggest prizes.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens took the Movie of the Year Award while Leonardo DiCaprio continued his run of victories following February’s Oscar win after picking up Best Male Performance for The Revenant.

Presenters in the ceremony played exclusive clips from some of this year’s most hotly-anticipated movies, including Captain America: Civil War, Suicide Squad and Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The night also included performances from the likes of Ariana Grande and Halsey, who delivered renditions of ‘Dangerous Woman’ and ‘Castle’ respectively.
