Forever tapping home-grown British talent, Burberry have enlisted some rather pedigree people for their latest fragrance Mr Burberry. Academy award winner Steve McQueen has directed the very raunchy campaign video, starring British actor and musician Josh Whitehouse and British model and actress Amber Anderson.

“Mr. Burberry is our most significant men’s fragrance to date,” says Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and Chief Executive officer of Burberry. “Inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat and by London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions. It is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own.”

In our next issue we’ve  sat down with the stars of the campaign, Josh Whitehouse and Amber and talked about the fairly naked campaign shoot  and how it was to work with the legendary Steve McQueen as well as all things Burberry. The soundtrack for the video is by British singer songwriter Benjamin Clementine who performed at this season’s menswear show in January.

Ever being at the forefront of social media with their fashion, Burberry have also created special content on the fragrance, including a director’s cut and behind the scenes video. It will be live for 24 hours in the app, but then for two months you can  scan a Burberry Snapcode (found at point of sale) to unlock the content
