Sporting Heroes in association with Holland & Barrett (21-25)

By Will Stroude

PrintWith a long hot summer ahead of us, we thought it was the perfect time to celebrate those sporting heroes who have captured our hearts.

Here, in no particular order, we present the the 25 sportsmen who have impressed Attitude with their talents, made an impact on their sport and got us hot under the jock-strap. Today is the final installment, but if you’ve missed the list so far just take a look at the links below to see who else made the cut.

21) Christiano Ronaldo

RONALDO

Rarely seen these days with a top on (not that we’re complaining), living football legend Christiano, 29, is undoubtedly one of the hottest football players to have ever lived. Not only that but he is also considered the most valuable football star in history. The Portuguese player currently earns in excess of £19 million a year from his Real Madrid contract alone and has a total estimated wealth of £130 million.

22) Lewis Hamilton

HAMILTON

After finishing his debut season as runner-up in 2007, Lewis won the World Championship the next year and has won at least one race every season since. Anyone in doubt of Lewis’s gay appeal need only be reminded of his on-off relationship with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

23) Muhammad Ali

ALI

Born Cassius Marcellus Clay, this legendary boxer took on boxing greats and left them in his dust! Not exactly shy, he referred to himself as ‘the greatest’ and boasted about his skills. He also coined the immortal phrase “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.”

24) Andy Murray

MURRAY

The fiery Scotsman became the first British man to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936. We’ve always had a soft spot for Andy, and with two Grand Slam titles under his belt it seems the reigning BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner has finally been embraced by the nation.

25) David Beckham

BECKHAM

We all might know him best for his dashing handsome good looks, successful underwear range and being the spouse of Spice Girl, but David’s sporting success needs no introduction. When he appeared on our cover back in 2002 he was the first footballer to do so, and many sportsmen have followed in his wake.
