Sneak Peek: Yardley London – Ink

By Will Stroude

Yardley London have been going since 1770, but they like to keep things forward-thinking, so for Spring, they have introduced three new fragrances: Ink, Rhodium and Citrus-Wood. Each has its own story, and each has its own handsome gentleman fronting the campaign.

They’ve given us a backstage sneak peek of the campaign shoot for ‘Ink’, with a muscular man making a rather artistic mess. The fragrance  is inspired by Japanese Calligraphic art and created by esteemed perfumer Jean-Charles Niel, who has created a woody scent, with a blend of aromatic and citrus top notes of bergamont, rosemary, wormwood and black pepper. You’ll also detect fizzy spices, a touch of plum and warm base notes of amber, leather and vetiver.

The fragrance is £19.99 from Boots, independent chemists and online at yardleylondon.co.uk
