Kylie Minogue releases her new album Kiss Me Once this Monday (March 17).

The album is the singer’s twelfth and the follow-up to 2010’s Aphrodite, which debuted at number one on the UK’s Official Albums Chart and went platinum.

Kiss Me Once features Minogue’s current single Into the Blue, which is heading for the top ten on Sunday, as well as a duet with Enrique Iglesias called Beautiful, the Pharrell Williams-produced I Was Gonna Cancel and three tracks with the word ‘sex’ in their title: Les Sex, Sexy Love and Sexercize.

attitude.co.uk has already published a track-by-track review of the album, rating it 8/10 and singling out the title track, Feels So Good and Sexy Love for special praise.

Our friends at Digital Spy are also impressed with Kiss Me Once, saying it “easily ranks highly among the best albums of her career”. Time Out are keen too, writing that “Kiss Me Once is basically a typical Kylie Minogue album – albeit a very good one”.

Both The Guardian and The Telegraph are more cautious, each delivering three-star reviews. The former brands it “glossy and depthless”, while the latter asks: “How much longer can a seasoned showgirl play the ingénue?”

Meanwhile, our friends at Popjustice reckon If Only and Kiss Me Once are the album’s best songs and award it a 7/10 – the same rating as The Huffington Post, who pick Sexy Love and Les Sex as standout tracks.
