Famous siblings pair up for new Balmain campaign
Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain is known for attracting the A-list crowd, and Fall 15 is no different focusing on a smorgasbord of famous fashion siblings, photographed by Mario Sorrenti and Balmain’s Creative Director Pascal Dangin. Armando and Fernando Cabral are team menswear, while the womenswear side comprises of famous sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, supermodel and one of Taylor Swift squad member Gigi Hadid and her sister Bella, and the one and only supermodel Joan Smalls with her sister Erika.
Olivier said of the campaign: “Armando and Fernando, Bella and Gigi, Erika and Joan, and Kendall and Kylie come from a wealth of different backgrounds and histories. Collectively, they represent the fresh, diverse and open spirit of a new generation of fashion. Watching them work together also made clear to me the universality of an age-old truth: the truly powerful strength, support and love that family members can provide to one another.”
