Ella Henderson has stormed to Number One on the UK iTunes chart with her debut single Ghost.

The track reached the top spot on the online store’s chart within hours of its release on Sunday morning (June 8), knocking Ed Sheeran’s Sing from the summit.

The X Factor star performed the track live on the first Britain’s Got Talent semi-final on May 26.

Tiësto’s new Matthew Koma-assisted single Wasted, also released on Sunday, is close behind at number three.

Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey’s buzz track Brooklyn Baby is currently sitting just inside the top ten, after peaking at number five on Sunday afternoon.

New releases from Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez are faring less well, with Minogue’s charity single Crystallize currently at 51, and Lopez’s First Love two places behind at 53.
