Calvin Klein feature same-sex couples in ‘sexting’ ad campaign

By Will Stroude

Calvin Klein Jeans have unveiled the sexually-charged images for their fall campaign, which features a refreshingly inclusive mix of gay couples and, erm, threesomes?

With a theme of ‘Raw Texts Real Stories’, the fashion brand tackle modern relationships, hook-ups and sexual diversity in the new images, shot by Mario Sorrenti.

The two boys depicted together are Ethan James Green and Fusion Model Management’s Reid Rohling, while the text accompanying the image sees the pair exchanging racy images with one another before arranging a hook-up.

Calvin Klein says the campaign is an “an innovative sociological experiment turned fashion campaign,” in which “the visuals provide an editorial narrative of how a modern generation uniquely approaches sexual connection in a digital world.”

“Calvin Klein Jeans has a long history of combining sexual energy with cultural relevance,” said Melisa Goldie, the brand’s chief marketing officer.

“Through this campaign, we’re creating an emotional connection with today’s technology driven generation, highlighting the new normal channel for modern meet-ups.”
