Britney Spears adds over 30 dates to Las Vegas residency

Britney Spears has added a host of extra shows to her Las Vegas residency.

The 31-year-old singer, who is rumoured to be earning a massive $30 million (£18 million) from her two-year residency at Axis, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, now has another 30 dates of her ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ show booked in.

The new dates will span August of this year right through to February 2015 – and tickets go on sale this Friday (May 16).

Meanwhile, it was recently reported by the New York Daily News that Spears has been offered $12 million (£7.2 million) to extend the residency for another two years after that.

“Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not,” Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner told the newspaper. “She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health.”

The Gimme More singer launched the two-year residency last December (2013), coinciding with the release of her eighth studio album, Britney Jean.
