Abba stars tease new material: ‘It would have to be special’

Björn Ulvaeus and Frida Lyngstad have discussed the possibility of Abba recording new material together.
The pair – who attended a party at London’s Tate Modern to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Waterloo earlier this week – said that they are both open to the possibility of returning to the studio.
Frida told The Guardian: “It’s difficult to talk about this because then all the news stories will be: ‘Abba is going to record another song!’ But as long as we can sing and play, then why not? I would love to, but it’s up to Björn and Benny.”
Björn added: “Nothing’s planned and it would have to be something very special,” says Björn “But yes, why not?”
However, Frida recently ruled out the possibility of the group reforming for a reunion tour, saying “no amount of money would change our minds”.
