Brighton Pride weather forecast: Sunny spells and showers
By Will Stroude
Revellers attending Brighton Pride tomorrow (Aug 2) can expect a day of sunshine and showers.
Speaking to attitude.co.ukyesterday (July 31), a Met Office spokesperson predicted that after a “soggy start”, the city would see a day of “fairly changeable” weather, including the possibility of heavy rain.
“While you might see sunny spells in the afternoon it certainly won’t be a day of blue skies” Mark from the Met Office warned.
Despite the mixed outlook, temperatures are expected to reach the balmy heights of 20C, while better weather is expected the following day.
Brighton Pride festival takes place at Preston Park tomorrow (Aug 2), and will feature performances from Neon Jungle, Blue, Katy B and more. For more information visit the Brighton Pride website.
Earlier this week (July 29), Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband sent messages of support to Brighton ahead of the event, with Miliband praising the “fantastic” city’s diversity – watch his full video message here.
The cast of hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black have also recorded a video message to wish everyone a ‘Happy Pride’ – click here to see it in full.
