Kacey Musgraves has been out-Musgravesed after gatecrashing her own lookalike competition in London last week.
Promoting her upcoming album Middle of Nowhere, Musgraves surprised her British fans by competing in a bid to be crowned her own doppelgänger.
Fully committed to the cause, she said, “Well, I’m Kacey, that’s my name,” followed by, “And I mind my own biscuits,” in reference to her 2015 single ‘Biscuits’.

Musgraves was a good sport and crowned the lookalike winner with a tiara and sash before giving the cowboy hat–sporting fan a hug.
The event garnered widespread attention, with drag performers, Kacey Musgraves lookalikes, and everyone in-between joining the country star to party.
When is Kacey Musgraves’s Middle of Nowhere album coming out?
Set for a 1 May release, Middle of Nowhere will mark the 37-year-old’s seventh studio album, following her 2024 release Deeper Well.
Since her major-label debut Same Trailer Different Park in 2013, Musgraves has become one of country music’s most acclaimed stars, winning a Grammy in 2019 for Album of the Year and Best Country Album with her 2018 hit ‘Golden Hour’.
Musgraves isn’t the only star to inspire a lookalike competition in recent months. Heated Rivalry and Jacob Elordi contests have also swamped the internet.
Earlier this month, a Heated Rivalry lookalike competition in Washington, DC crowned Shane (Hudson Williams) and Ilya (Connor Storrie) doubles.
Who won the Washington DC Heated Rivalry lookalike competition?
Aram Matagi and Felix Eller won the competition and celebrated by locking lips after taking their shirts off.
Since their victory, the pair have confirmed they are dating. Matagi and Eller were recently spotted recreating Scott (François Arnaud) and Kip (Robbie GK)’s public kiss in the stalls of a hockey rink while on a date.
Legendary festival Coachella also hopped on the bandwagon, hosting its own Jacob Elordi lookalike contest in a bid to find the Euphoria actor’s double.
A photo of the competition went viral after showing the, let’s say, range of guys lined up thinking they had a shot at being crowned Elordi’s equivalent.
