US President Barack Obama appears on the cover of the OUT100
, the 44th President of the United States of America covers OUT Magazine’s latest issue. The portrait of the President is accompanied simply with three powerful words: Ally. Hero. Icon. It is the first time a sitting president has been photographed for the cover of an LGBT title.
President Obama was honoured as part of OUT’s annual celebration of the most compelling people of the year in a special OUT100 double issue. Last night, OUT.com unveiled 99 stellar honourees, including entertainers, activists, artists, politicians and sports figures from across the globe.
