Tiger King’s Joe Exotic ‘in coronavirus isolation in prison’, claims husband
The notorious big cat owner has reportedly been moved into isolation.

Tiger King’s Joe Exotic is reportedly in coronavirus isolation in prison.
The flamboyant subject of Netflix’s hit true crime docuseries, which focues on the interconnected lives of big cat owners and conservationists in the southern US, has been put in isolation in jail after the previous facility he was incarcerated in reported cases of COVID-19, his husband, Dillon Passage, claims.
Appearing on Andy Cohen’s US radio show, Radio Andy SXM, Passage said: “We speak three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at — there were cases.

“I have yet to speak to him since he’s been moved.”
Exotic, real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence in Texas after being convicted in 2019 of 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire.
Tiger King: Murder, Madness and Mayhem, charts Exotic’s life as the owner of a roadside zoo in Oklahoma, where he claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States.
The addictive series also explores Exotic’s relationships with his various husbands, as well as the escalating feud with animal rights activist Carole Baskin which eventually led to his arrest.
