Three people were stabbed inside a gay bar in Washington DC just minutes before a couple were brutally attacked.

According to Washington DC police, the attackers and victims were involved in a verbal dispute inside the Fireplace bar in Dupont Circle.

Police claim one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the three victims, who all required treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

A CCTV camera captured images of two men who have been identified as suspects.

Just minutes after this attack, Karl Craven and his partner Braden Brecht were also attacked close to the location of the stabbings.

The three teens arrested have been charged with robbery by force and violence.
